How do I RSVP? / What’s the RSVP deadline?
Please could you respond by 1st December– you can respond on a form on the website or via our invite by post.
What should I do if my plans change (can’t attend / change number of guests)?

What should I wear?
The colour scheme of the wedding is olive green with elements of dusty pink – this will be the colours of the bridesmaids.
The dress code is cocktail attire: suits and ties, and party-ready dresses or tailored looks.
Please be aware Ireland is very cold at this time of year so please consider adding a coat to your look.
Will there be transport or car services between venues / hotels?
For guests who requested transport on their RSVP, we have arranged
a coach with Corduff Travel to bring you to Ballintubber Abbey.
Please meet at the Castlecourt Hotel reception at 12:30pm
The coach will depart promptly for the 1:30pm ceremony
What is the parking situation?
There is free parking at the hotel and church.
What is the nearest airport?
Knock Airport is the nearest airport to the venue.
There is a bus that runs between Westport and the airport (440).
What are the local taxi numbers?

Is the ceremony indoors or outdoors (and what happens in bad weather)?
The wedding will be mainly indoors – apart from taking photos outside the church – please make sure to wrap up warm.
When will the schedule run until? When does the party end?
2:30am we will be wrapping up.
Where is best to stay?
We would recommend staying at the venue we are having the reception at which is The Castlecourt Hotel – this is also attached to the Westport Plaza.
Please be aware if staying on the 26th that the hotel is opening just for us so you will need to call up to book and say it is for our wedding.
Clew Bay Hotel is also walking distance.
If driving (not walking distance) – Knockranny House Hotel and Westport Coast Hotel are also lovely.
What do I do if I have dietary restrictions (or food allergies)?

When should I arrive / how early do doors open?
Doors open at 1pm for a 1:30pm start.
Is anything planned the night before?
Join us for a relaxed evening on 26th of drinks, pizza,
and live Irish trad music from Tony and the Ramblers,
playing 6:00pm–8:00pm at the Clock Tavern Westport
It’s the perfect chance to catch up with everyone before the
celebrations begin.
Do you have recommendations of places to visit, eat and drink?
If staying longer than the wedding and making it into a holiday – please see suggestions below:
- Walk the trail around Westport House
- Walk the Quay and have an outdoor swim at The Point if you’re feeling brave
- Take a drive to Achill Island – beautiful beaches
- Go see, and weather permitting, hike Croagh Patrick
- Go see music and have a pint at Matt Molloy’s, JJ O’Malley’s, Porter House
- Have a bite to eat at Sage, An Port Mór, Sol Rio, The Helm, Friends Bistro
- Looking for wine and cheese – The Gallery Café or Saveur Faire are both good options

Are you accepting wedding gifts?
Your presence at our wedding truly means the world to us and is more than enough.
However, for those who have kindly asked, we have created a small gift registry and would also be incredibly grateful for any contribution toward our honeymoon and future adventures together.
If you’d like to leave a card or a note with your well wishes, there will be a post-box at the reception on the day.
